Nb-1Zr alloys contains W (Zr)= 0.8%-1.2%, which is a low strength and high plasticity alloy, belongings to the type of WC precipitation + oxide dispersion strengthening alloy. It is fairly stable to most mineral and organic acids at room temperature, but soluble in hydrofluoric acid and mixtures of hydrofluoric acid and nitric acid. The corrosion resistance of the alloys decreases when the temperature is higher than 100℃. This alloys has poor alkaline resistance.
